How the MIA meet-and-greet works

When you book, add your airline, flight number and arrival time. Gonza texts you before pickup to confirm the time and the exact meeting point, and the hand-over is planned around your landing.

There is no rental counter and no shuttle bus: you collect your bags, walk out to the meeting point we agreed, and the car is there. We walk around it and photograph it together, then you drive off.

Delivery is free across Greater Miami, and MIA is inside it: the airport costs nothing extra. Our base on NW 72nd Street is a few minutes away.

MIA's terminals, in brief

Miami International Airport has three terminals — North, Central and South — and its concourses are labelled by letter: D in the North terminal, E, F and G in the Central terminal, and H and J in the South terminal. Concourse G, for example, is in the Central terminal.

Where a car can meet you depends on your terminal and on where the airport allows a vehicle hand-over, so we do not name a door in advance: Gonza confirms the meeting point with you by text before pickup.

What to have ready

You must be 21 or older to rent any car in the fleet, and the license and insurance must be the ones you uploaded with your booking.

• Your valid driver's license — the physical card. Foreign and international licenses are accepted.
• Your own full-coverage auto insurance card — the one you uploaded when you booked. Zalo Rentals does not provide insurance.
• The payment card you booked with.
• Your phone, switched on when you land: Gonza texts you the meeting point.
• The balance of the rental, which is due at pickup.

Returning the car at MIA

Flying out of Miami at the end of the trip? Tell us your departure flight when you book and ask us about collecting the car at the airport; we agree the time and the meeting point with you.

The standard allowance is 100–150 miles per day, set per car; extra miles are $3–5 each depending on the car, and we confirm the exact numbers for your car when you book.

Booking and payment

Book online with a $100 deposit — the only charge when you book. It reserves your request, comes off the rental once Gonza approves you, and is refunded automatically if we can't confirm.

Once you're approved, 50% of the rental total locks your dates — Gonza sends you a secure payment link — and the balance is due at pickup.

Cancel more than 48 hours before the rental starts and the 50% you paid to lock your dates is refunded in full; within 48 hours of the start, we keep 50% of what you paid.
