Renting an exotic car in Miami with a foreign driver's license

Updated

Yes — Zalo Rentals accepts foreign and international driver's licenses for every car in its Miami fleet. You must be 21 or older and have your own full-coverage auto insurance; Zalo does not provide insurance. Book online with a $100 deposit that reserves your request, and we deliver the car to you.

Is a foreign driver's license accepted?

Yes. Foreign and international driver's licenses are accepted at Zalo Rentals: you upload yours like any other license, front and back, as clear phone photos from the booking page.

Bring the physical license to the hand-over, with the insurance you sent when you booked.

If your license is not in English

If your license is not in English, an International Driving Permit (IDP) helps: it is a translation of your license, issued in the country that issued the license. It does not replace your license — bring both.

Not sure about your license? Send us a photo of it on WhatsApp before you book and we tell you.

What to bring

Age and insurance

You must be 21 or older to rent any car in the fleet.

Full-coverage auto insurance is required, and it must be your own policy: Zalo Rentals does not provide insurance. You upload the insurance card with your booking.

Is your policy from outside the US? Send it to us on WhatsApp before you book and we tell you whether it works for the car you want.

How booking and payment work

Book online with a $100 deposit — the only charge when you book. It reserves your request, comes off the rental once Gonza approves you, and is refunded automatically if we can't confirm.

Pay the deposit in the booking sheet with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay or a card.

Once you're approved, 50% of the rental total locks your dates — Gonza sends you a secure payment link — and the balance is due at pickup.

Cancel more than 48 hours before the rental starts and the 50% you paid to lock your dates is refunded in full; within 48 hours of the start, we keep 50% of what you paid.

Delivery and pickup at Miami Airport (MIA)

Delivery is free across the Greater Miami area, Miami International Airport (MIA) included, so we can meet you when you land — tell us your flight when you book. The rest of South Florida and anywhere else in Florida is by quote.

Gonza texts you the time and place before pickup. At the hand-over, bring the physical license and the insurance you sent; we photograph the car together.

The standard allowance is 100–150 miles per day, set per car; extra miles are $3–5 each depending on the car, and we confirm the exact numbers for your car when you book.

Yes — a valid European license is accepted like any other foreign license; if it is not in English, bring an International Driving Permit with it, which helps.

Do I need an International Driving Permit?

If your license is not in English, an International Driving Permit helps — bring it with your license; not sure, send us a photo of your license on WhatsApp before you book.

Does Zalo Rentals provide insurance?

No — Zalo Rentals does not provide insurance: you need your own full-coverage auto insurance, and you upload the insurance card when you book.
